Description of the project: BOTH MAGNETRON DISCHARGE AND MULTIPOLAR CONFINEMENT PLASMA SYSTEM HAVE BEEN CONSIDERED WITHIN THE PROJECT. HIGH PRESSURE PLASMA SYSTEM BAS BEEN ALSO PRODUCED (BDB AND MICRODISCHARGES). BOTH ELECTRON AND ION DISTRIBUTION FUNCTIONS WERE EXPERIEMNTALY OBTAINED AND A MODEL HES BEEN PROPOSED FOR REACTIVE MAGNETRON DISCHARGE. SURFACE MODIFICATIONS PRODUCED BY LOW TEMPERATURE PLASMA AND/OR BEAM INTERACTING WITH SOLID SURFACES HAVE BEEN STUDIED. THE PROJECT HAD A MAJOR CONTRIBUTION FOR DEVELOPING OF THE BOTH MATERIAL BASES AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATIONS.
