Description of the project: "THE PROJECT INCLUDES A RESEACH TREND FOR STUDYING THE SUPERFICIAL LAYER OF THE MACHINE ELEMENTS. THE ORIGINAL METHODOLOGY IS BASED ON THE CONCEPTS OF TRIBOMODEL AND TRIBOLAYER, ELABORATED BY THE PROGRAM MANAGER. THE SUPERFICIAL LAYER PARAMETERS (AS INPUT AND OUTPUT QUANTITIES) ARE INFLUENCED BY THE FUNCTIONAL AND DESIGN PARAMETERS *AS COMMANDING ONES). BASED ON THESE THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCHES, IT IS POSSIBLE TO OPTIMISE THE TECHNICAL SYSTEMS BEARING WEAR AND FATIGUE PROCESSES. "
