Description of the project: "THE PROJECT CONTRIBUTES TO NEW TECHNOLOGY IMPLEMENTATION IN THE CONSTITUTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR AMMONIA REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS BY FILLING A GAP OF THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL INFORMATION REGARDING THE TWO-PHASE FLOW AND HEAT TRANSFER OF AMMONIA EVAPORATION INSIDE TUBES. AN ORIGINAL SET-UP FOR EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF FORCE CONVECTION BOILING OF REFRIGERANTS HAS BEEN DEVELOPED, AND A DATA BANK FOR AMMONIA?S HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT, PRESSURE DROP AND VOID FRACTION WAS PRODUCED. A NEW TWO-PHASE FLOW MAP IN VERTICAL TUBES WAS PROPOSED. SUBROUTINES FOR AMMONIA BOILING WERE ELABORATED"
