Description of the project: "THE MAJOR GOAL OF THIS PROJECT WAS TO OBTAIN ORIGINAL SCIENTIFIC DATA SIGNIFICANTLY USEFUL IN THE BIOREMEDIATION PROCESSES OF DIFFERENT ECOSYSTEMS POLLUTED WITH HETEROCYCLIC AROMATIC HYDROCARBON. COMPLETION OF THE EXPERIMENTS DETERMINED THE ACHIEVEMENT OF ALL THE OPERATIONAL TASKS. EVENMORE, WE ELABORATED A NEW TECHNIQUE (NOT YET CITED IN THE SCIENTIFIC PAPERS), THAT ALLOWS A FAST QUANTIFICATION OF THE MICROBIAL BIODEGRADATION OF QUINOLINE . ON THE WHOLE, OUR RESULTS ALLOW FUTURE COLABORATION PROJECTS WITH OTHER SIMILAR INSTITUTIONS IN EUROPE."
